Finished and submitted my piece for the Journal Quilt Project II. It's the first fiber piece that I've ever submitted anywhere. Now I think I'll go get sick...scary stuff. ;)
About Me
- Gisela Towner
- I'm a painter/muralist/etc. Recently I got hooked on fabric and fibers, so I'm exploring how to these materials in my art. I feel as though I've found the thing that is going to tie together all of the other mediums that I love into one big happy package. Okay -- well maybe not the cement work that I do... I'm married to a great guy and we live with 5 rescued parrots. We have a grown daughter and 2 awesome grandsons. Was born in Germany and came over with my parents as a baby in 1957. I've lived in Germany, Ohio, Nevada, Oregon, California, then Oregon and Ohio again. Ive been a professional chef and a professional Girl Scout and a professional bartender in my past.
